The FOURMEAUX 2021 Chapter VIII is our most masculine Pinot Noir. It’s generous almost brooding, inky color tells you this is going to be a mouthful. Cherries, cherries, and more even more cherries explode from the glass… think Luxardo Maraschino Cherries Jubilee Flambée!!! The rich, almost voluptuous texture and its melted tannins make this wine so “sexy”! Cherry cola, hibiscus flowers, and warm Tahitian vanilla all keep your nose “in the glass”.

The FOURMEAUX 2021 Chapter VII Pinot Noir is our most reminiscent of red Burgundy. This cooler site in Forestville creates an ethereal, delicate, and elegant wine. Ripe and juicy raspberry, kirsch, and blood orange radiate from the glass. Complex, earthy undertones of black tea, moist forest floor, and herbs follow. Polished tannins nicely frame the crisp yet delicate mouthfeel making this a pleasure to savor.

The FOURMEAUX 2021 Chapter VI Pinot Noir walks the fine line between the Burgundian and Californian Pinot Noir styles. The aromatics remind me of walking through a summer garden–dynamic and explosive! From wild strawberries, blackberries, and pomegranate to violets, lavender and tomato leaf. It’s mouthwatering acidity, supple tannins and a rich round mouthfeel make this wine a real treat to enjoy.

From the famed Bacigalupi Vineyard in Sonoma’s Russian River Valley Appellation (same vineyard as Chateau Montelena’s chardonnay that won the 1976 Judgement of Paris).

Pure Finesse. Truly a Chardonnay for the ages. Seductive and alluring aromas of lemon preserves, almond croissant and acacia blossoms are accented by exhilarating acidity and a richness that captivates your tastes buds with a long-luxurious finish. The texture is ample and silky smooth. Approachable and really delicious now, the wine will reward several years of cellaring and continue to develop for years, much like its Burgundian cousins from Corton-Charlemagne.

The 2019 Fourmeaux Red Wine soars out of the glass with vibrant ripe blackberries, black cherries and fresh red and black currants plus wafts of licorice, candied violets & cedar chest. The most impressive quality of this beautiful wine is its incredible length and depth of character and flavors. On the palate, it is polished with ultra-fine velvety tannins, pure pleasure!

Along with the 2013, 2016 and 2018 the 2019 vintage is a classic not to miss!

A brilliant & graceful Pinot, so reminiscent of a classic red Burgundy. The Fourmeaux Pinot Noir is ethereal, delicate and inviting aromas of pomegranate, strawberry tart, exotic rose hips, gingerbread, Chinese five spice, with an intoxicating sandalwood-like incense. This Pinot Noir is also intensely perfumed in the mouth, and has great energy, fruit sweetness, and juicy acidity with fine, elegant ripe tannins. Incredibly classy, this structured wine is perfectly balanced and will drink fantastic now, but will continue to age gracefully through 2034!
