2021 VGS Malbec
This wine jumps from the glass with a deep, rich, pronounced bouquet of cherries and dark red fruit. The nose evolves into deep aromas of plums, leather, coffee, cinnamon, bay laurel and floral notes that makes the whole bouquet enticing, lively and vibrant.
This intensely dark wine enters the mouth with a relatively mid-weight for such a full-bodied wine. It is a round and ample wine that is still at its early stage of development. When the fullness of its components come together, this is going to be a big wine. The tannins are strong and will support up to twenty years of cellar aging and will be well integrated.
