2021 Terroir Collection GSC MOUNT VEEDER
This is our fifth release of this Southern Rhone Valley-inspired red wine: Châteauneuf-du-Pape meets the New World! This unique red blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Counoise is really spectacular!
At first glance, the vibrant and brilliant blueish, ruby red color shines in your glass. The nose is both full and rich yet at the same time delicate and generous. Seductive aromas of ripe strawberries, dark cherries, black licorice, fennel and warm spices like Chinese five
spice and cardamom jump from the glass.
On the palate the wine is rich, ripe and full of dark red and black berries. A racy acidity frames the wine nicely showing it great ageing potential. We recommend decanting and aerating this wine young (the next year or so) and then enjoy seeing it age gracefully into the future.
GSC has quickly become one of our signature wines– and a favorite among our members–given its unique and individualistic character. A first of its kind in California!
