Tasting from our “Point of View”

Barrels, tanks and overcrowded tasting rooms, you’ve seen! So take the road less travelled and explore an insider’s “view” of Napa Valley and live like a vintner! We invite you on our mountain vineyard for a private tasting that is completely unique!

After a short informative hike through the hillside vineyards, we will taste through a selection of VGS and VGS Explorer wines. As you savour spectacular views on a blue-sky day, you will continue to enjoy the wines through lunch to see how well they pair with food. If you are a member of our Connoisseurs Club, Club Red or Collectors Club you will also enjoy a tasting of a hand-selected Library Wine from our cellar.

The Wine Country
Box Lunch Prepared by Oakville Grocery.
Your choice of Grilled Chicken or Salmon served on a bed of mixed greens with pasta salad, a signature cookie of the day and a bottle of spring water.
$40 per person

The Iron Chef
Prepared by Morimoto Napa
A shared Sashimi Caesar salad of local romaine and seared tuna, choice of two Bahnmi sandwiches (Angry Chicken, Pork Belly, Korean BBQ Steak or Tuna Sashimi) and two sinful Buttermilk Cupcakes.
$50 per person

The Epicurean Lunch
Prepared by Chef Ken Frank of La Toque (recently awarded the coveted Michelin star)
A picnic experience like no other! Created by Chef Ken Frank, this seasonal menu is created especially for VGS!

Lunch is on you; wines, fun, education and memories are on us!

We will reserve and pick up your lunches for you. All you need to do is come to our vineyard and enjoy! Let us do the heavy lifting!

Our vineyard is located at 1800 feet atop Mount Veeder at the end of a windy, dusty road. So PLEASE come prepared. Leave the high heels in the closet and the Ferrari in the garage! Opt for comfortable walking shoes and a rental car!
