Come as a stranger,
Leave as a friend.

I believe that wine is part of our heritage as it represents the expression of the
culture of a "place" and its people. Culture is defined as a set of values and styles, and this is clearly evident in the wines produced in New World vs. the Old World because the cultures are so different; the wines express the set of values and styles of the people who make them.

The trips I lead are a discovery of these cultures and their styles and sets of values through the fantastic wines we will drink and the remarkable hospitality that is granted to us. You will return with a new appreciation of the wines as well as an in-depth knowledge of the region you visited.

These trips are unique because our hosts are also my friends in Bordeaux,
Champagne, Burgundy, Alsace, and Argentina each opening the doors of their
chateau and cellars for you, my friends from the United States. “As friends of Jean-Noel, we were welcomed like old friends", says Pat B. of Denver, CO. Chateaux are like you and me, they open only their very best for their closest friends. So be ready, in a week’s time, you will experience everything from barrel tastings to 40-year-old wines …come enjoy!

Sincerely,
Jean-Noel
